Rosehip Oil Benefits Acne – Why it works!
Rosehip oils delivers top notch high quality vitamins and essential fatty acids to you skin. Rosehip oil basically has everything your skin loves and craves!
Believe it or not, acne is a sign that your body is dehydrated. You need to drink more water and less coffee and soda. These are very dehydrating to the skin. When this is not enough, adding rosehip oil to your skin care is a smart choice. Rosehip oil helps protect and nourish your delicate acne prone skin. When your body is dehydrated your skin starts to get dry. Your skin then over produces oil to help protect it. This huge over production of oil complicates your skin and pimples start to form. Sometimes our bodies are very complicated because as women, we have hormonal cycles and stress.
When I see someone with very oily skin, I usually ask them how much water they drink everyday. The answer is usually very little water and lots of coffee! Coffee is very dehydrating to the skin. For every one cup of coffee you drink, try to make sure you drink a cup of water in between to compensate.
Rosehip Oil Contains:
Vitamin A,C,E, and essential fatty acids!
Make sure your rosehip oil is cold pressed – meaning it still contains all the vitamins and minerals and nothing was damaged.
Rosehip oil won’t irritate your skin because it’s a gentle oil that absorbs so easily into your skin.
Rosehip oil won’t just stay on the outer surface of your skin, it gets deep down into your skin! You can apply rosehip oil and have it absorbed into your skin within ten minutes tops. I’ve had it absorb into my skin so fast that I applied more and it still absorbed into my skin.
Rosehip Oil Benefits – My under eye area stays moisturized all day!
Rosehip Oil Benefits Acne – My acne is soothed and my skin is glowing!
Rosehip Oil Benefits Acne – My acne scars are gone – it took one month to see results and two months to remove my acne scars!

Hi!
Thank you so much for this blog post. I’m suffering with acne scars right now and this was very helpful!!
xo,
Anna
Hi Anna,
For acne scars, you might also want to look into microdermabrasion for removing tough scars. I love using the PMD at home midcoderm system. Or you can always gently exfoliate daily with baking soda and water. Good luck!
Jen
Hi. First thanks a lot for those informations. Now let me ask you if rosehip oil makes scars vanish or they just become less visible. My dermatologist say it’s impossible to get rid of them. Thanks for answer and stay well. Ana
Hi Ana,
Acne scars can be removed over time. It takes patience, nurturing essential oils such as rosehip oil, and for scars I would also recommend microdermabrasion or gentle daily exfoliation with baking soda. Also always wear sunscreen, especially if you have acne, this way if you do pop a pimple or break the skin – the sun will not give you that extra hyper pigmentation. Overall, your skin tone will balance out when you wear sunscreen everyday.
Because of that article I decided to buy rosehip oil (Trilogy). In one week my skin glows and is free of acne (before have few & very sensitive skin with allergies on many products but seems like that oil cleaned my skin), still no changes with scars but I have faith now. Very glad and highly recommend to everyone.

Hi, I have pimples and scars on my cheeks and still suffering for more than years. I’ve tried so many products and even consulted to dermatologist but nothing seems to work. I want to try this one. So, where can i buy these rose hip oil in philippines? Is this available at Watsons? Thank you for your consideration! ?
Hi, Jen do you need to wear moisture on your face afterwards or just the oil and what about sun screen or do you just wear it at night.
Hi Mary,
I love to use the rosehip oil and also a sunscreen during the day. Usually in the form of a BB cream or even CC cream. (tinted moisturizer/spf/serum) I wear the oil both during the morning and night, especially generous under my eyes. I also like to add another moisturizer before bed nowadays too under the oil. I’m using TATCHA supple moisture rich silk cream.
Hi Jen ,
I am African American and recently last 4 months have suffered severely with acne scars , to now I’m ashamed . I’ve also gotten into make up before I wasn’t taking care of my skin while wearing makeup or after I would sleep with it on . I’ve purchased the rose hemp oil after reading your article . My question is do you think it can still work with wearing make up ?
Hi AI,
Yes, I believe so. Just don’t sleep wearing makeup.
The rosehip seed oil will create a nice barrier of moisture that will keep your own skin oils under control. You can wear makeup over rosehip seed oil.
