In the previous times I never had a problem but now my hair is breaking off (from near the top) in like 5 – 10 strands. At first, it was worse, but now it has lessened a bit but I’m really scared about what will happen to my hair.
How long will it take for the olive oil to actually stop or lessen the breakage even more?

Hi jen I spoke to you a while back about my hair loss. It turned out my ferritin was low and sitting at 18. It’s still coming out really quick and I now have hardly any hair. I’m looking for any advice to get my ferritin increased as the tablets take a while. I go abroad I’m 5 weeks so hoping it will slow down by then and I’ll hope still have hair. Lisa

I would condition my hair with olive oil at least twice a week. Only use shampoo once a week. Also, keep your hair in a loose bun and add a tiny bit of coconut oil before you tie your hair back to keep it hydrated but not too greasy. It’s important to keep your hair hydrated. Dry hair breaks. Be gentle when combing with a wide tooth comb. Use a boar bristle brush when it’s dry to distribute your hair oils.
