If you’re practicing good skin care and still not seeing results after one month, try looking into the foods you’re eating. How does the beautiful skin diet affect your skin?

The foods you eat become the building blocks to make healthy skin. The more high quality food in your diet, the more vitamins, minerals, protein, and amino acids, giving you more beautiful skin. However, if you starve yourself or eat more processed foods, your skin will become weak and lack the elastic tissue and protective elements that make it beautiful. The more healthy you are on the inside, the more beautiful your skin will be on the outside. It’s surprising that even if you’re lacking one vitamin or mineral, you will being to notice problems in your skin. For example, if you’re missing vitamin K in your diet, you may start to get dark under eye circles. The remedy would be to start eating foods that contain more vitamin K such as spinach.

Why I chose these foods for the beautiful skin diet

I know it’s very hard for most of us to switch to a diet that says no to soda, ice cream, and yes to spinach and avocado, etc. But if you can eliminate the worst and try to include more of the good foods, you’ll start seeing a difference in your skin. Heck, it’s hard for me to say no to many foods and I do indulge unless I want to guarantee myself flawless skin for an event or just enjoy the benefits. Once you start seeing the skin care benefits, it may be easier for you to say no to yummy foods. That’s why I put together some foods that will maximize you to have beautiful skin, their super foods that deeply nourish your body with little effort. Even if you eat small amounts of these foods, you can see a difference in your skin.

The Beautiful Skin Diet – Breakfast

I like to eat extremely healthy first thing in the morning to start the day with a pure mind and body. I love to eat my healthy breakfast sitting at my desk starting at 9:00 am for work. I bring tons of fresh prepped veggies, water, and usually green tea. I eat as much as I want with no guilt. This contains:

3 stalks of Celery

Slices of cucumber

Chopped carrots

Green Tea

Bottled Water

Walnuts

Dark Chocolate 70% or darker

Raspberries, blackberries, or Blueberries

Lemon Water –Read the amazing benefits of lemon water

 

The Beautiful Skin Diet – Lunch or Dinner

I love to make a wrap using pita bread

I spread garlic hummus,

Raw baby spinach

chopped onion

cooked turkey

avocado

tomato

Sprinkle with pepper

Sprinkle with Oregano

Sprinkle with Basil

Drizzle with Extra Virgin Olive Oil or coconut

Foods to avoid for beautiful skin

Soda

Alcohol

    • Hi Alfia,
      Yes, olive oil is great to apply to skin before bed, especially under your eyes. Pat any excess off with a paper towel, you don’t want to get any in your eyes.
